Photo Chemical Machining Company

The Beginning: Kemac Technology is a contract manufacturer that was established in 1995 as a result of an acquisition of TRW’s captive etching facility. The company is known for its high quality, fast-turnaround and customer focus. In addition to standard etching capabilities, Kemac takes pride in its nitinol, titanium and thin foil experience.

Kemac’s strong engineering background enabled it to become the first company to successfully etch nitinol, and it continues to push the boundaries of conventional etching.

The company occupies a single, 20,000 square foot manufacturing space that is located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Los Angeles, in Azusa, California. Plant tours are offered to current and potential customers who are interested in learning about the etching process.

Improved Capabilities:

In July, 2011, Kemac was acquired by Tecomet, a contract manufacturer serving the medical device and aerospace defense industries. Tecomet shares Kemac's passion for quality and customer service, while offering additional capabilities in the following:

  • Net Shape and Closed Die Forging
  • Conventional and CNC Machining (Turning and Milling)
  • 3-Dimensional Photochemical Machining
  • Laser and E-Beam Welding and Vacuum Brazing
  • Custom Finishing (Polishing, Cleaning and Passivation)
  • Rapid Prototype Machining

The acquisition has expanded the capabilities of both companies and Kemac will continue to provide its customers with high quality parts and excellent service. For  more information, please contact us today!
