Traveling Wave Tube Radar Systems
Tecomet offers a wide range of radar system and traveling wave tube design, development, engineering, and manufacturing services. Products include shadow and control grids for traveling wave tube radar systems, which have critical applications in radar and space communication systems.
Tecomet is able to create products that conform to the following specification ranges:
- Tolerances: +/- 0.0002 inches (0.005 millimeters), or 10% of material thickness
- Material thickness ranges: 0.001 inches to 0.010 inches (0.025 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters)
- Sizes: Up to 24 inches (60 centimeters), length by width
- Available materials: Copper, beryllium copper, tungsten, molybdenum, hafnium
- Standards conformance: ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 13485:2016, AS 9100
Project scopes include process development, prototyping, process validation and production scale-up.
